Christ Church home goes up in flames

Police are investigating a house fire which occurred about 5:35 p.m. yesterday at Lower Carter’s Gap, Christ Church.

It destroyed the two-bedroom home of 63-year-old Dorian Burke.

Police say Burke left his home to lime with friends and moments later he was alerted by two men that his house was on fire.

He returned home but the house had already gone up in flames and the structure was destroyed

The house was not insured.

Two fire tenders and seven personnel responded and extinguished the blaze about 6:15 p.m. (PR/NB)
