The Royal Barbados Police Force band is helping to kick-start the 2018 Crop Over Festival with their sixth annual Crop Over in the City concert.

Minister of Culture John King, who addressed the gathering in Independence Square earlier tonight, said events such as this helped in adding diversity to the festival and should be supported.

King, in wishing everyone a safe Crop Over, asked that all go out and support the festival which had something for everyone.

Many entertainers are expected to perform throughout the evening including reigning Junior Monarch in the 13-18 category Sparkle T, Gabby, Blood, Mikey, iWeb and many more. (DB)
