A 56-year-old woman who was attacked early this morning is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for multiple stab wounds.
Judy Hoyte of Waterford, St Michael received injuries to her head, neck, forearm and fingertips, after someone broke into her home about 1:30 a.m.
Acting inspector Rodney Inniss confirmed the police are investigating the matter.
