The public is kindly asked to note that as a precautionary measure to mitigate the possible impact of Hurricane Beryl, the management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will open its pharmacy on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to provide a limited dispensation service.

This limited service is to ensure that members of the public on life saving therapies, such as cardiac, oncology, asthmatic, diabetic and hypertensive patients with repeat prescriptions to be refilled between Monday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 11 will receive the necessary medication.

It is advised that anyone on medication have at minimum a seven day supply of all medications prescribed. As such, this limited dispensation service is simply a precautionary measure to ensure patient care is not compromised. (PR)
