What was supposed to be a night of traditional soca turned sour for three female partygoers and could see two policemen having a date with the court this week.
And the women, who declined to be named for fear of victimisation, say they feel let down after their appeal to the security at the fete was apparently ignored.
Sunday, police public relations officer Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss confirmed that two lawmen were being “interviewed” at District “A” Police Station as a result of the incident at the Soca Legends show at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on Saturday night.
Inniss said the two officers were among a numberof people at the station in connection with the matter, but he declined to reveal the names of the constables. (TG/HLE)
