Chalk up another international accolade for Karen Meakins, who copped bronze at the World Masters Squash Tournament in Virginia on Saturday.

Playing in the women’s over-45 draw, the Bajan squash queen downed England’s Rachel Kalver in the third-place game to claim her latest medal at a major competition.

This was after Meakins missed out on Saturday’s final following an 11-9, 11-3, 11-2 loss to Australian Sarah Fitzgerald in the semi-final round.

Mark Sealy was slated to play for seventh position in the men’s over-55 category after losing his quarter-final match against Fedrik Johnson of Sweden 11-4, 11-9, 11-9. (JM/PR)
