Man shot on Brandons Beach

Police are investigating a shooting which occurred about 5 p.m. on Sunday along Brandons Beach, Brandons, St Michael.

An altercation among a number of males resulted in one man being shot in his right leg.

He ran away and was later transported in a private vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.

The assailants escaped on foot. Police investigations are ongoing.
