Barbadian students desirous of pursuing studies in the United States of America will now have greater opportunities of doing so.

This will be made possible through the EducationUSA Advising Centre.

The centre will be located at the Bridgetown Public Library.

Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S Embassy Bridgetown, Joaquin Monserrate said he was excited about the new centre.

“I expect that this new centre will offer greater access to local students who are interested in engaging in academic exchange between Barbados and the United States. Whether you are interested in participating in short term exchange or enrolling into full academic degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, our EducationUSA advising centres are excellent resources in connecting prospective students with accredited U.S higher education institutions,” Monserrate said.

This centre joins the current and comprehensive EducationUSA advising centre at the Barbados Community College. (DB)
