A shooting in New Orleans leaves one woman injured

Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident at New Orleans St Michael in which one person was injured last night.

Following the gunfire around 9:30 p.m. officers recovered a large number of spent shells from various calibre of weapons at the scene. The injured female victim sought private  medical attention.
