Frantic with worry that gunmen opening fire in her Harrisons, St Lucy neighbourhood might enter her house, Judith Griffith rushed to lock the door and met a gun pointed at her face.

“The gunman was right in front me pointing his gun; I just freeze and he freeze too,” she recalled.

Griffith was one of two people injured when gunshots rang out just outside North Stars Cricket Ground on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier that day, Dexter Lashley was gunned down a short distance from his home in Crab Hill. (SB)
