Three remanded for St Lucy shootings

Five days after gun play at North Stars Cricket Club, Crab Hill, St Lucy, left a number of residents traumatised, Andre Omar “Lord Evil” Jackman and two other men faced the Holetown Magistrates’ Court in relation to the incident today.

They were all remanded to HMP Dodds for 28 days by Magistrate Wanda Blair.Jackman, 40, of Stroud Bay, Crab Hill, was not required to plead to use of a firearm without a valid licence; engaging in conduct which placed Reshawn Greaves and Blair Greaves in danger of death or serious bodily harm; inciting Shane Babb to engage in conduct which placed Reshawn Greaves and Blair Greaves in danger of death or serious bodily harm  and inciting Tyrone Moore to engage in conduct which placed Reshawn Greaves and Blair Greaves in danger of death or serious bodily harm, all on Sunday.

 Jackman, who was represented by attorney Shadia Simpson, is also jointly charged with Kaeron Sylvian Moore, 32, of Stroud Bay, Crab Hill, St Lucy and Shane Hakeem Omar Babb, 32, of Ellis Road, Crab Hill, St Lucy, for two counts each of endangering life; use of a firearm without a licence and wounding with intent, in addition to one count of criminal damage.

 The three accused return to court on November 2, this year.
