UPDATE: Stabbed boy in stable condition

Schoolboy Stefan Hoyte of Black Rock, St Michael, who was stabbed earlier today is in stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police said the16-year-old student, who has a laceration to his abdomen, reported that he was beaten by eight to ten boys after he was pursued and dragged from a minibus. The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. (AC)
