Two of the biggest names in local motorsport, Roger “The Sheriff” Skeete and Roger “Hit Hotness” Mayers, are sitting out the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Flow Winter Sprint double-header event on October 28.

Speaking on the Courtesy Garage RPM Report radio programme on Wednesday, Skeete said that remedial work on his WRC Sol/Automotive Art/Simpson Motors/Flow Subaru Impreza WRC S12B was still in progress and would not be ready in time for himto face the starter.

He, however said it would be ready for the BRC’s Winter Rallyon November 28.

“I would have liked to have been in the double-header next week, knowing the memories that I have from that course, but that is not going happen, and for the Winter Rally, my son Dane will get to drive it,” The Sheriff noted. (TT)
