Police identify visitor killed in road accident

Police are continuing investigations into an accident which occurred Sunday October 21, along Vauxhall Road, St James, where a car driven by 26-year-old Honey Griffith, of Rock Hall, St Lucy and collided with two pedestrians.  

One pedestrian, 74-year-old Janette Danglois, died on the spot. Danglois was a United States resident and was staying at the Divi Heritage Beach Resort, Vauxhall, St James.

The second pedestrian, 62-year-old Lorraind Earl, who is also staying at the Divi Heritage Beach Resort, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and remains in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit undergoing medical treatment.
