The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is reassuring residents and businesses located near the Graeme Hall Swamp in Christ Church, that all efforts are being made to eliminate the odour emanating from the area.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the BWA explained that the odour was as a result of stagnant water and blockages located on the southern side of the Swamp.

“BWA crews will continue to work assiduously to resolve this issue and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused,” the Authority stated. (BGIS)
