Div. 2 ‘no-balls’

The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) is batting on another sticky wicket with the outcome of several matches in its Second Division still undecided.

Already saddled with an unresolved Sagicor Twenty20 quarter-final match between Crane Resort St Catherine and YMPC, the BCA and its complaints and disputes committee will now be forced to settle a number of long-standing, unplayed Second Division matches.

A check on the BCA’s website listed as many as nine stalemates where “the BCA is to rule on the outcome” in that division.

The last day of another match is also to be determined, and it is now uncertain whether the unplayed matches will be rescheduled or teams penalised. (EZS)
