Farley bounces back

Trevor Farley earned an opportunity for redemption when he defeated Dorian Walcott to qualify for the final of the ‘A’ class table tennis tournament when the National Championships continued on Saturday at the Table Tennis Centre, Nursery Drive.

His opponent in the final will be Marcus Smith, who defeated Farley in the second round of the domestic club championship in the recently concluded season.

Farley, like his brother Kevin, is a former Caribbean champion and though his focus is now on coaching, he is still good enough to take out any of the top players.

Younger brother Kevin missed the tournament because of a training stint in Trinidad. (PH)
