Police are investigating a shooting London Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, which took place around 10:15 last night.
Leon Lawrence of Cane Vale Crescent, Christ Church or Brittons Hill, St Michael, received several gunshot injuries and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle.
Lawrence’s condition is listed as serious but stable, as he received several non-life-threatening wounds.
Lawrence was among a group of people at a shop in the area of Liverpool Road and London Road, when they were attacked by several men armed with guns.
A vehicle involved in the incident was damaged and is currently in police possession for forensic examination.
