School term ends next week

Public schools will close for the Christmas holidays next week.

The last day of the Michaelmas term for students will be Thursday, December 13, and for teachers Friday, December 14.

Following the three-week Christmas holiday, the Hilary Term (Term II) will start at the beginning of 2019 and will last for 12 weeks. It will begin on Monday, January 7, for teachers, and Tuesday, January 8, for students.

The term will end on Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29, for students and teachers, respectively, for the Easter break. (BGIS)
