Barbados Pride are chasing victory

Barbados Pride, chasing a victory target of 170 runs, were 82 for four in 31 overs at lunch on the final day of their first round day-night pink ball match in the Regional 4-Day Cricket Championship against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at 3Ws Oval here Sunday.

The not out batsmen at the interval, are captain Shamarh Brooks on 32 and all-rounder Justin Greaves on five.

Resuming from 13 for one overnight after losing opener Anthony Alleyne for six off the final ball on the third day from pacer Alzarri Joseph, Barbados Pride lost the wickets of Shayne Moseley, Jonathan Carter and Aaron Jones.

Moseley was bowled by fast bowler Joseph for seven while Carter, cutting at off-spinner Terrance Warde, was also bowled for 24.

The other batsman to fall was Aaron Jones for one. He edged a googly from leg-spinner Damion Jacobs onto his stumps.

Joseph has so far taken two for 14 off seven overs.
