Update:Barbados Pride beaten by Hurricanes

Barbados Pride were beaten by 34 runs by the Leeward Islands Hurricanes on the final day of their first round day-night pink ball match in the Regional 4-Day Cricket Championship here Sunday.

Chasing a victory target of 170, Barbados Pride were dismissed for 135 just before tea. Captain Shamarh Brooks hit the top score of 32 and wicket-keeper Tevyn Walcott contributed 30.

Off-spinner Terranace Warde was the Hurricanes’ most successful bowler with four for 33 in 15.5 overs while fast bowler Alzarri Joseph supported with three for 16 in 13 overs.
