BWA water fix

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has come up with a solution to eliminate water outages in critical areas.

General manager Keithroy Halliday on Wednesday announced the installation of a container booster at Bushy Park, St Philip. This, he said, would allow for the supply of additional water through the Bowmanston area into St John and St Joseph.

Work on this site should be completed by the end of January, and Halliday said it would significantly enhance the flow of water into these areas, resulting in a reliable supply and eliminating the use of water tanks.

He made the comments yesterday morning during the re-installation of community tanks at Horse Hill, St Joseph. (MB)
