Patricia Austin has fond memories of walking around with her brother Tyrone Austin on Christmas Day, and looking at curtains in their younger days. Sadly, this Christmas she is left with only memories.
Tyrone, 68, of Free Hill, Black Rock, St Michael, was found dead on Tuesday around 5:35 p.m. at Paradise Heights, Walton Drive, also in St Michael, at the entrance to a heavily vegetated track.
“The entire family is very sad. We never expected anything like this to happen, especially so close to Christmas. It’s a sad time. He used to live next door with two of our brothers, John and Bernard. If he wanted anything, he would come over here for it,” she said.
Patricia, 66, said she was devastated to hear the news of her brother yesterday morning. He was the first of her seven siblings to die. (DB)
