A dispute in Glendairy Road, Station Hill, St Michael, left a man with a partially severed arm yesterday.

The incident, which occurred at a house just after 11 a.m., was said to involve a woman and two men.

Details were still sketchy and up to press time police had yet to release a statement.

One neighbour said: “I don’t really mix up, but . . . it seems that the young lady’s past boyfriend attacked her current boyfriend. I understand the guy who was injured, his hand was partially severed and he had a laceration to his leg.”

He called for an end to the violence.

“We need to learn to live in peace and harmony. This isn’t a good look for the country at all,” he added. (DB)
