It’s more than likely that Hurley House (Purple) will be taking their victory lap when all the events are completed at St Bernard’s Inter-house Athletics Championships.

Following their sports day at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex last Thursday, they are the ones leading the charge with 415 points.

One-hundred and twenty-six points behind are Deane (Orange) with 289 and Alleyne (Yellow) on 265.

Their performance made it easy for them to pull away from the pack quite early in the day for them to have a clear view of their fourth successive title.

In the Under-13 Division Ajani Williams captured a total of 30 points when he took bragging rights of being the fasted boy in the school after clinching the 100 metres event. During the day, he continued his steady performance, crossing the finish line first in the 200 and 400 metres.  (RG)
