Retrenched workers from the public service, as well as unemployed persons in search of jobs, stand to benefit from the next series of workshops to be conducted by the Barbados Employment and Career Counselling Service (BECCS).
Sessions for retrenched persons will be conducted on Monday, February 11, Tuesday, February 12, and Wednesday, February 13. People who are unemployed and seeking work may attend workshops on Monday, March 4; Tuesday, March 5; or Wednesday, March 6.
The workshops will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the Lecture Theatre, 1st Floor, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St Michael. Lunch will be provided.
The same information will be shared each day, and emphasis will be placed on financial planning; exploring personal interests and goal setting; boosting job search and CV writing skills and exploring entrepreneurship.
