WELL KNOWN PIG FARMER Gay Reed is counting his lucky stars after he narrowly escaped after an accident on Wednesday.
His single cab white truck overturned at a junction in Dukes Land, St Thomas, around one o’clock, a short distance away from his Rock Hall piggery.Â
Reed, who is in his late 50s, was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. He was unscathed but his blood pressure was slightly elevated.Â
Motorists who happened to be in the area, including personnel from the St Thomas district emergency organisation, parked their cars and rendered assistance. (SB)
