GOVERNMENT’S ROAD MARKING PROGRAMME is now on Highway 7.

On Monday night, a team from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Maintenance began remarking pedestrian crossings from Hastings, Christ Church to Grantley Adams International Airport.

One worker told the DAILY NATION this was the second phase of the project. Last week Monday through Thursday, they did marking from Walmer Lodge, Black Rock, St Michael to Fish Pot in St Lucy.

Next week, the crew will be moving to the roundabouts on the ABC Highway.

The Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association is sponsoring the project.

The roadworks will continue from 6:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. until Friday. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and motorists are asked to exercise due care. ( PR/SAT)
