Gunman remanded

A 24-year-old welder was remanded to jail after appearing in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

Ckeimo Leroy Daren Best, of No. 19 Edgehill Terrace, St Thomas was not required to plead to supplying a gun to Jonell Williams, and did not have a valid licence to do so on February 17.

Prosecutor Constable Kevin Forde did not object to bail for the man who was represented by Andrew Willoughby.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick remanded him to HMP Dodds until March 22 and transferred the matter to Court No. 2. (RA)
