Waitress charged in road death

A 26-year-old waitress appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with the October 21, 2018 road death of a visitor.

Honey Shakira Ronnelle Griffith of Rock Hall, St Lucy, is charged with causing the death of Jeanette Langbois by dangerous driving on Vauxhall Road, St James.

She is also charged with driving the vehicle without reasonable consideration for others using the road.

Griffith appeared in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Wanda Blair and was placed on $10 000 bail to return to court on July 30.

She was represented by Queen’s Counsel Michael Lashley in association with Dayna Taylor Levine and Jamilia Lorde.
