Daily Devotion The power of prayer

Date:

Share post:

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.

Prayer links us with the unlimited possibilities of God. It is a two-way communication between you and God. Just as God listens to us we have to listen to Him. This is why we must not allow our prayer life to become stagnant. Stagnant water is unfit for consumption and creates a stench. Forgiveness, unbelief, doubt, laziness, wrong motives, and unconfessed sin are a few of the things that will hinder an effective prayer life. Take care in guarding your prayer life. – James 5:16
