Police identify latest road fatality

Motorcyclist Chad Williams is the island’s latest road fatality.

The 28-year-old of Beckwith Street, the City, St Michael, was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident last night along Heywoods Road, St Peter.

Around 7 p.m.  a ZR driven by Nikolai Greaves, 31, of Freyers Well Road, Checker Hall Tenantry Road #2, St Lucy and motorcycle were involved in a collision.

The ZR was travelling towards St Lucy and the driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time. The motorcycle was travelling in the opposite direction when Williams collided with the ZR head on. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Greaves complained of injuries to both of his feet and pain about his body. The ZR was extensively damaged.

Police investigations are continuing.
