Transport Consultation gets moving

Traffic, road pollution, safety, penalties for reckless drivers and the unreliability of public service vehicles are among some of the topics being discussed at the Barbados National Consultation on Domestic Transport.

The day-long event is being held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre where panellists including Minister of Transport Dr William Duguid, Minister Peter Philips, Chairman of the Transport Authority Ian Estwick are fielding questions from several stakeholders.

The data collected will inform an upcoming green paper, which will be presented to the Cabinet. (TG)
