Six declare NUPW hand

Six members of the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) have thrown their hats in the ring for the elections on April 3.

The group, going under the campaign slogan “Engine For Change”, announced its interest in becoming members of the NUPW’s executive. Among them was social activist David Denny, who is running for second vice-president.

Verrol Scott is up for president, Daria Cave for first vice-president, Edsel Mayers for third vice-president, Izola Waithe for treasurer and Kenmore Dash or deputy treasurer. (DB)
