TECHNICAL DIRECTOR of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Ahmed Mohamed is pleased with his tenure as stand-in coach of the senior national football team.

He took charge of the team for the final time last week Sunday, as the Tridents lost their final CONCACAF Nations League qualifier match at the Wildey Turf to Nicaragua.

However, despite not getting the perfect result during his swansong, Mohamed said he was satisfied with how the team had grown under his leadership.

“I can be proud and everyone else can be as well,” the technical director said. “Our last game was a Central American team full of professionals and we showed we have the same talent as them.”

“It shows the work that we put into our team and invested. As a technical director and coach, I feel good. We always had a good, healthy team, mentally strong and mature.”
