Fisherman dies at sea

Police are currently investigating the reported death of a fisherman at sea.

Today, police from Oistins, Christ Church, responded to a report that originated from a fishing vessel around 5 a.m.

It stated a fisherman had died about 80 miles offshore to the south of Barbados. The vessel was met by the Barbados Coast Guard and escorted to the Oistins Jetty where it was met by Police.

The fisherman’s identity has not been released. (PR/SAT)
