There is something dead stinking up the building that houses the District “D” Magistrates’ Court.

So bad is the stench that officials from the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) ordered the court closed last Thursday until further notice.

The closure affects the Magistrate’s Court as well as the offices of the District “D” court and the Belleplaine Magistrates’ Court.

The move came after staff complained of a stench, which smelt like that of a dead rat, permeating the building. (HLE)
