Police are investigating the stabbing of a woman in Black Rock, St Michael, last night.

Police public relations officer, acting Inspector Rodney Inniss told the Nation moments ago that the names would not be disclosed at this time, but early investigations indicate the woman was injured during an invasion of her home at Brighton.

“The information received was that there was an aggravated burglary at the home after the husband had left. His wife called to indicate she had been stabbed. The woman is now at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital being treated for her injuries, but is fighting for her life,” Inniss said. (BA)
