Daily Devotion Nonentities

– Judges 6:15

There are many of you who, in the eyes of friends and family, are considered nonentities. They look at you now and think that you will never amount to anything; they sneer behind your back and criticise you. Gideon saw himself as the least, but God called him a mighty man of valour. It does not matter who you are or where you have come from – the plans God has for you are great. In your current place of obscurity, remain faithful, for when people least expect it, you will emerge a champion in the Kingdom of God.

So Gideon said to Him, ‘O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh and I am the least in my father’s house.”
