PM, Bradshaw meeting with teachers’ unions

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw, as well as other ministry officials are currently locked in a closed door meeting with union officials from the Barbados Secondary Teacher’s Union (BSTU), Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) and teachers from various schools across the island.

High on the agenda will be the issue of student on teacher related violence.

Other school related matters will also be addressed.

Prime Minister Mottley will address the media in a press conference following the meeting which is expected to conclude at 5 p.m. (DB)
