KINGSTON – The media fraternity and academic community in Jamaica are mourning the passing of Martin Henry, a well-known columnist with the Jamaica Gleaner,

who collapsed and died suddenly late Tuesday.

Henry, 61, collapsed following an interview on television reflecting on the life and contribution of former Prime Minister Edward Seaga who died earlier on Tuesday.

In a tribute, Prime Minister Andrew Holness said Henry made a significant contribution to the education system and was a strong advocate for transparency and good governance. CMC)
