A VAGRANT ON a theft charge was remanded to HMP Dodds by the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Trevor Anthony Agard, a 57-year-old car washer, of no fixed place of abode, pleaded not guilty to stealing US$230 and BDS$35 belonging to Cora Beckles on May 25.
Prosecutor Sergeant Edwin Pinder objected to him being released, pointing to his lack of address and prior convictions. He added he feared he might reappear on other charges. Magistrate Douglas Frederick adjourned the matter until June 24. ( HLE)
