Two through to football semis

ALL SAINTS PRIMARY and A DaCostaEdwards are the first two schools through the semi-finals of the National Sports Council’s BICO Primary Schools Football Competition. 

 Both schools advanced after All Saints defeated Arthur Smith 3-0 on penalties and A Dacosta Edwards won against Eden Lodge 2-1 at the National Stadium yesterday.

All Saints and Arthur Smith were forced to settle their match from the penalty spot after the game finished 1-1 following the completion of regulation and extra time. 

Dakari Marshall and Kamani Holder both made strikes for A DaCosta Edwards and Shae-Shon Scantlebury was the lone striker for Eden Lodge. 

Today, defending champions Grantley Prescod will face Luther Thorne at 10:30 a.m. in their battle for a spot in Friday’s semi-finals while Wilkie Cumberbatch and West Terrace will a play each other at 9:30 a.m. 

Both matches will be also be played at the National Stadium. (RG)
