ANDREA CUMBERBATCH has so far done all the right things on her journey to becoming a professional fitness athlete.
Next on her list is achieving her pro card. And with 19 up for grabs at the upcoming Darcy Beckles Diamond Cup Pro, she is hoping that dream becomes a reality.
“From the time I decided I wanted to start doing bikini fitness, I knew that I wanted to reach a level where I could say, yes, it was an attainable one, and be able to make my teammates, myself and Barbados proud.
“To say there’s a pro show here and I won it at home would be the icing on the cake,” she said.
With the July 6 competition just two weeks away, Cumberbatch is quite comfortable, having started her preparations four months ago. (RG)
