The search for American visitors Oscar Suarez and Magdalena Devil has been extended for another 72 hours.
Barbados has also asked the United States government for assistance with air surveillance, as Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley promised yesterday Barbados would do everything possible to try to find the couple, who went missing at sea on Monday.Â
A comprehensive search operation involving the Barbados Coast Guard, Royal Barbados Police Force and the Regional Security System (RSS) was launched after the New Jersey couple failed to return to shore from a 34-minute jet ski ride at Holetown, St James.
The disappearance of Suarez, 32, and 25-year-old Devil, has gained coverage on major American news outlets such as CNN, ABS News, CBS News, Travel And Leisure and the New York Post. (GC)
