The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre recorded a tremor to the northeast of Barbados earlier today.
Around 2:47 p.m., an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale registered 177km northeast of Bridgetown at Latitude 14.6N and Longitude 59.03W, at a depth of 10km.
It was 225km east northeast of Castries, St Lucia, and 227km east of Fort-de-France, Martinique.
The Seismic Research Centre has recorded a number of quakes across the Caribbean, the majority of which have been near Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. (SAT)
