The Insurance Corporation of Barbados Limited (ICBL) has partnered with the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) to ensure that safety and security are paramount within the environs of The City of Bridgetown.

This morning, ICBL’s Chief Operating Officer Oliver Jordan presented a cheque for $24 000 to Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith, to assist with the purchasing and installation of the CCTV cameras.

During the presentation in the boardroom at Police Headquarters, Jordan reiterated ICBL’s commitment to partnering with the RBPF to assist in the facilitation of the crime fighting effort in Barbados, not only for the 2019 Crop Over 2019 activities, but in the future.

He also called on other entities in corporate Barbados to partner with the police, wherever possible.

In accepting the cheque, Griffith thanked ICBL for its assistance and said the funds would be put to good use with the acquisition of the new CCTV cameras. (PR/SAT)
