The Barbados Revenue Authority reminds taxpayers that to benefit from the five per cent discount granted for early payment on Land Tax bills through the instalment option, the first payment must be made by this Friday, July 26.

Taxpayers would thereafter be required to complete the total payment in no more than three equal monthly instalments, with the last payment made on or before October 30. The five per cent discount for the completed payment will be applied at the final instalment payment.

In all other circumstances, to obtain the five per cent discount, the bill must be paid in full on or before August 31.

Payments may be made at BRA’s offices at Treasury Building, Weymouth Corporate Centre, Warrens Tower II, Southern Plaza and Holetown. The opening hours for the Treasury Building and Holetown are Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., while the other locations are 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (BRA/BGIS)
