Police and security are in place for the first staging of Welcome To Marz Ville Trip to Mars, presented by Dewars Scotch Whisky, tomorrow night at Kensington Oval.

Headliner Omar Marzville McQuilkin has put together a cast of more than 20 entertainers and deejays for the show and he says there will be “no bad vibes around here”.

With hits like Give It To Ta, Roughness, and Bang Bim, among others, the audience is in for a treat.

Marzville has been around the entertainment scene for a long time, first making a name singing ballads. He was a member of the band Electric, which featured Keisha Christian, and now leads The Elements Band.

He is a perennial finalist in the Bashment Soca Competition and is also in Sunday’s final of the Soca Monarch Competition at the National Botanical Gardens.

There will be performances by Nailah Blackman, Motto, Lyrikal, Rupee, Lil Rick, Alison Hinds, Edwin Yearwood, Mikey, Hypasounds, Jus D, Leadpipe, Jah Reddis, Scrilla, Verseewild and Xtrawild and many more. In between, you can party to the explosive sounds of deejays Private Ryan, Surf Rat & Menace, Indian and Chris Gayle, Ras and more.

Welcome To Marz Ville Trip to Mars is Sponsored by Dewars Scotch Whisky, Remy Martin 1738, Hott 95.3, De Clay Oven, Bajan Tube and 98.1 the official Media Sponsor
