BWA working to fix burst mains

Share post:

Barbados Water Authority crews are working to repair several burst mains around the island.

Water tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in all of the affected districts. The BWA has also advised the public that pumping at its Lodge Hill reservoir returned to normalcy.

However, it is experiencing very low water levels at the Golden Ridge pumping station and Shop Hill reservoir.

This may result in low pressure and possible water outages being experienced in parts of St. James, St. Joseph and St. Thomas.

Customers in these areas are advised to continue to store water. (PR)
